  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • margarine or butter - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 1 c
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • oatmeal - 3 c

How to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies:

Cream the margarine, shortening and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs. Combine flour, soda, salt and oatmeal. Add to sugar mixture. Stir in chips. Chill dough before baking. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
