Oatmeal chip cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• packed brown sugar - 1 c
• salt - 1 tsp
• semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c
• all-purpose flour - 2 c
• nuts - 1 c
• oatmeal - 2 c
• softened margarine - 1/2 c

How to make oatmeal chip cookies:

In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except oats, nuts and chocolate chips. Blend well with mixer. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix, then shape into balls, using a rounded teaspoon for each. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 90 to 96 cookies.
