Ingredients/Components
- yeast or 1 Tbsp - 1 pkg
- flour - 4 c
- butter - 1/2 lb
- lukewarm water - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- brown sugar
- graham cracker crumbs - 1 c
- ground pecans - 1 c
How to make nut roll:
Filling:2 c. brown sugar1 c. graham cracker crumbs1 c. ground pecans Mix yeast, flour and butter until crumbly. Add water, eggs and sugar. Beat well. Refrigerate. Divide dough into 2 parts. Roll as thin as possible while dough is still cold. Spread with half the filling mix. Roll as for jelly roll. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling. Bake on cookie sheet 1/2 hour at 350°.
