Never fail pie crust
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt
- flour - 4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- lard
How to make never fail pie crust:
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in lard with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. In a separate bowl, mix together the water, vinegar and egg. Add to flour mixture. This will be enough for two double crust piesRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
