Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- cold water
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- egg whites - 3 item
How to make never fail meringue:
Dissolve together cornstarch and water. Add boiling water. Cook until thick and clear; cool. Beat egg whites until they stand in soft peaks, then beat into cold cornstarch. Beat until firmer peaks are formed. Gradually add sugar; beat, beat, beat until firm peaks form. Add vanilla; beat in. Put on pie.
