Ingredients/Components

• stick oleo - 1 item
• eggs, separated - 2 item
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• sugar - 1 c
• plain flour
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• brown sugar
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• egg whites - 2 item

How to make mud hens:

Frosting:1 c. brown sugar1 c. chopped nuts2 egg whites For frosting, beat egg whites stiff. Add brown sugar and nuts. Pour over cookie mix.

Mix oleo, sugar and egg yolks. Combine dry ingredients; add to mixture. Add vanilla; mix well. Put into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Mixture will be dry. Bake for approximately 25 minutes at 350°.
