Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 3
- chopped nuts optional - 1/2 c
- sticks margarine, melted - 2 item
- pinch of nutmeg optional - 1 item
- pop-n-fresh type biscuits, cut in quarters - 4 pkg
How to make monkey bread:
Separate the biscuits and mix into melted margarine. Mix the sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and nuts thoroughly, then mix together with margarine and biscuits. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. (Check center with fork to see if biscuits are done, not gooey.)Recipe categories: Low protein, Breads, Rolls/biscuits.
