Monkey bread
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- white sugar - 2/3 c
- walnuts, chopped - 1 c
- pecans, chopped - 2 c
- 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item
- cans biscuits - 3 item
How to make monkey bread:
Take white sugar and cinnamon, make cinnamon mixture. Take biscuits and cut each one in 4 pieces. Roll them in cinnamon sugar.Grease a Bundt pan well with butter. Place 1 cup of mixed nuts in bottom. Layer biscuits in pan, sprinkling a few nuts between layers.
On stove, melt butter, brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon until mixture is liquid. Pour over biscuits in pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes, then place a cake plate over Bundt pan and turn over.
