eggs - 3 item
pkg - 1 oz
salt - 1/2 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
shortening - 1 c
flour, unsifted - 3 c

How to make mincemeat cookies:

Preheat oven to 370°. In a large mixer bowl, beat shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Stir together dry ingredients; gradually add to shortening mix. Mix well; stir in mincemeat. Drop by rounded teaspoon 2-inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until light brown.
