- butter, softened - 1 lb
- sugar - 3 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 4 c
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- eggs at room temperature - 6 item
- coconut extract - 1 tsp
- pineapple extract - 1 tsp
How to make million dollar pound cake:
Combine sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition. Stir in flavoring. Pour batter into well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
