Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 8 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 8 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 item
  • fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • ketchup - 1/4 c
  • prepared mustard - 2 Tbsp
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • instant dry milk
  • Shape into about 50 1 1/2-inch balls

How to make meatballs:

Mix all ingredients well in a 3-quart bowl with wet hands. Shape into about 50 (1 1/2-inch) balls. Put into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch dish. Bake near center of oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Drain. Put meatballs in electric skillet with sauce. Simmer 20 minutes. May be cooked in crock-pot on low for 1 1/2 hours.Sauce:1/2 c. ketchup8 Tbsp. vinegar1/2 c. water1 can tomato sauce8 Tbsp. brown sugar2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce2 Tbsp. prepared mustard Mix well all ingredients and simmer 5 minutes.
