Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • catsup - 1/4 c
  • sage - 1/2 tsp
  • ground beef - 1 to
  • grated onion - 1/4 c
  • cracker crumbs or bread crumbs - 2/3 c
  • Form into 2 loaves

How to make meat loaf:

Mix liquid and eggs, then add beef, cracker crumbs and seasonings. Form into 2 loaves. Cover loaves with sauce.Sauce:3 Tbsp. brown sugar1/4 c. catsup1/4 tsp. nutmeg1 tsp. dry mustard Combine. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
