Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1 c
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • onion - 1 item
  • green pepper - 1 item
  • Worcestershire - 2 Tbsp
  • milk, heat - 1/2 c

How to make meat balls:

Mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and milk which has been heated and poured over meat mixture. Work together and form into balls. Make 1 layer only in baking pan.

Mix together water, vinegar, catsup and Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle diced onion and green pepper over meat balls, amount desired. Pour sauce mixture over meat balls. Bake 1 hour at 350°. Best made day before. Freezes well. Reheat in sauce/juice.
