Maple country ribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- applesauce - 1/2 c
- ground cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- catsup - 1/4 c
- pure maple syrup - 1 c
- country-style pork ribs - 3 lb
How to make maple country ribs:
Place ribs in large kettle or Dutch oven. Cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain. Place ribs in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan.Combine remaining ingredients. Pour half over ribs. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender, basting often with remaining sauce. Yield: 4 servings.
