Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- water
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 1/4 c
- hard-boiled eggs, chopped - 6 item
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- Dressing:1 1/2 c
- macaroni, cooked until soft measure uncooked - 2 c
- parsley not necessary, but adds color - 1 item
- grated carrot not necessary, but adds color - 1 item
How to make macaroni salad:
Combine.Dressing:1 1/2 c. sugar1/4 c. flour1/3 c. vinegar1 1/2 c. water1/2 tsp. salt1 c. mayonnaise1/4 c. prepared mustard Boil first 5 ingredients until clear. Cool, then add remaining ingredients. Cook macaroni while dressing is cooling.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Elbow macaroni.
