Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• butter or margarine - 1/2 c
• flour - 1/4 c
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• powdered sugar - 1/2 c
• sifted flour - 2 c
• lemon juice - 1/3 c
• Mix crust ingredients together with a fork and blend

How to make lemon squares:

Preheat oven to 325°. Mix crust ingredients together with a fork and blend. Press into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch greased pan and bake for 20 minutes.Batter:4 eggs, beaten2 c. sugar1/3 c. lemon juice1/4 c. flour1/2 tsp. baking powder While baking crust, prepare batter. Beat together eggs, sugar and lemon juice. Then add flour and baking powder and continue mixing. Pour over baked crust. Bake another 25 minutes. When finished baking, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Let cool and cut.
