Lemon spinach
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- pkg - 4 oz
- stick butter - 1 item
- Progresso Italian style bread crumbs - 1 item
- whole lemon rind, grated - 1 item
How to make lemon spinach:
Boil the spinach until tender in water to which has been added the sugar. Drain well. While warm, add the cream cheese and 1/2 stick butter. Mix well until blended and there are no lumps of cheese. Add the lemon rind (no juice). Melt remaining 1/2 stick butter and mix it with enough of the bread crumbs to make 1/4-inch topping on the spinach and cream cheese mixture. Bake uncovered for approximately 30 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
