Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk
- flour - 1/4 c
- egg whites - 3 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- butter, melted - 3 Tbsp
- finely shredded lemon peel
- beaten egg yolks - 3 item
How to make lemon pudding cake:
In a large mixing bowl combine sugar, flour and salt. Stir in melted butter, lemon peel and lemon juice.In a small bowl, combine egg yolks and milk. Add to flour mixture. In mixing bowl beat egg whites to stiff peaks. Gently fold egg whites into lemon batter. Turn into an ungreased 8-inch square pan. Place in a larger pan on oven rack. Pour hot water into large pan to a depth of 1-inch. Bake in a 350° oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until top is golden.
