  • cold water
  • yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
  • salad oil - 1/2 c
  • poppy seed - 3 Tbsp
  • eggs unbeaten - 4 item
  • lemon instant pudding

How to make lemon poppy seed cake:

Stir together cake mix, dry instant pudding and poppy seed. Add remaining ingredients and beat on medium speed for 4 minutes. Bake at 350° for about 55 minutes. Cool 5 minutes and top with mixture of 1/3 cup granulated sugar and juice of 1 lemon. Poke holes on top of cake and drizzle on warm cake which was removed from pan.
