Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- mayo - 2 c
- large green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- to 4 stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- small head lettuce, torn - 1 item
- medium head cauliflower, cut into small flowerets - 1/2 item
- to 5 slices bacon, fried and finely crumbled - 4 item
How to make layered salad:
Layer lettuce, then other fresh veggies in a large bowl. Layer the peas and dressing (2 cups mayo and 2 tablespoons sugar). Top with cheese. Cover; allow to chill overnight. Add bacon just before tossing.Recipe categories: Salads, 3 steps or less, > 1 day.
