Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt
- water - 2 c
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- basil - 1 Tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 lb
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- tomatoes - 2 c
- cartons large curd cottage cheese - 2 oz
How to make lasagna:
Brown meat slowly, add garlic, parsley flakes, basil, salt, tomatoes, water and tomato paste to drained meat. Simmer, uncovered, until thick, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cook noodles until tender and drain. Rinse with cold water. Combine cottage cheese with eggs, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Place layer of noodles on bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish. Spread some cheese mix over noodles, then layer of meat, then some Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until used up. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Ground beef, Beef, Lasagna.
