Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- basil - 1 Tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 lb
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- creamed cottage cheese - 6 c
How to make lasagna:
Brown meat; drain fat. Add garlic, parsley flakes, basil, salt, tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer, covered, for 1 hour. Cook noodles in salted water. Mix cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley flakes and cheese. Grease a 12 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Spread half the noodles on bottom of pan; cover with half the cottage cheese mixture and cover this with half the Mozzarella cheese. Repeat these layers. Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 375°. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. This recipe can be prepared, divided and put in smaller pans to freeze for later use.Recipe categories: Ground beef, Beef, Lasagna.
