Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cottage cheese - 2 c
- oregano
- basil - 2 tsp
- cans tomato sauce - 3 item
- grated Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- lasagna noodles - 9 item
- onion - 1/2 c
- garlic - 2 tsp
- slices Velveeta cheese - 9 item
How to make lasagna:
Meat Sauce: Brown meat and onion. Then mix tomato sauce, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.Filling: Combine egg, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese and parsley flakes.
Cook noodles according to directions. In a 12 x 7 x 2-inch pan, layer 3 noodles, 1/3 filling, then 1/3 sauce, 1/3 cheese and 3 slices Velveeta cheese, over and over. Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.
