Jumbo raisin cookies

sugar - 2 c
cinnamon
eggs - 3 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1 tsp
chopped nuts - 1 c
flour - 4 c
water - 1 c
nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
baking powder - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
shortening - 1 c
raisins - 2 c

How to make jumbo raisin cookies:

Add raisins to water and boil for 5 minutes. Cool. Cream shortening, then add sugar. Add beaten eggs, vanilla, raisins with water mixture and nuts. Add dry ingredients to raisin mixture. Drop by full teaspoon on greased pan. Bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 60 cookies.

Icing: Mix together powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over cookies.
