Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • 1 oz - 1/4 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • soft bread crumbs - 2 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item

How to make italian meat loaf:

Combine meat, bread crumbs, onion, Parmesan cheese, eggs and seasonings; mix lightly. Press into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Pour off drippings.

Combine tomato sauce and oregano. Pour mixture over meat loaf. Top meat loaf with 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese. Continue baking 30 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
