Italian meat loaf
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- 1 oz - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- soft bread crumbs - 2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 2 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
How to make italian meat loaf:
Combine meat, bread crumbs, onion, Parmesan cheese, eggs and seasonings; mix lightly. Press into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Pour off drippings.Combine tomato sauce and oregano. Pour mixture over meat loaf. Top meat loaf with 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese. Continue baking 30 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
