Hush puppies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• egg, beaten - 1 item
• small onion, diced - 1 item
• cup flour - 1/2 item
• cup milk - 3/4 item
• 1/2 cup corn meal - 1 item

How to make hush puppies:

Sift dry ingredients. Add onion. Add egg, milk, then stir lightly. Drop by spoon into deep fat 360 degrees. Makes about 2 dozen.
