  • buttermilk - 1 to
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • chopped onion - 6 Tbsp
  • corn meal plain - 2 c

How to make hush puppies:

Mix all dry ingredients. Add chopped onion, then milk and egg. Drop by spoonfuls into hot grease. Cook until golden brown. Drain on brown paper or paper towels.
