Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 Tbsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• buttermilk - 1 item
• baking powder
• baking soda - 1/2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• medium onion, chopped finely - 1 item
• meal - 1 c

How to make hush puppies:

Mix with buttermilk, leaving mixture thick. Drop from spoon into hot grease. Cook until brown.
