Hush puppies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 4 item
• salt - 4 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• baking powder - 4 tsp
• boiling water - 2 c
• chopped onions
• corn meal - 1 c

How to make hush puppies:

Sift and mix all dry ingredients. Add onion and beaten eggs. Pour hot water over this mixture, stirring until batter is smooth. Drop by spoon into hot fat about 350° until brown.
