Hot turkey salad
Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- sliced green onions - 2/3 c
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/3 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- margarine, melted - 1 Tbsp
- hot sauce - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable cooking spray - 1 item
- jar pimento, drained - 1 oz
- fine, dry bread crumbs - 3 Tbsp
- reduced calorie mayo - 1/3 c
- cubed turkey - 2 c
How to make hot turkey salad:
Combine the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl; toss. Combine mayo, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Add to turkey mixture. Mix well. Spoon mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole coated with cooking spray. Combine bread crumbs and margarine. Sprinkle evenly over turkey mixture. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Yields 4 servings (about 261 calories per serving).Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, One Dish meal.
