Hot pepper sauce
Ingredients/Components
- peck tomatoes - 1 item
- bushel green peppers - 1/2 item
- medium onions - 7 item
- hot peppers as many as needed for taste - 1 item
- large can tomato paste or more if desired - 1 item
How to make hot pepper sauce:
In large pot, cover bottom with cooking oil. Add cut-up peppers and onions. Cook until soft. Drain off oil. Add skinned tomatoes. Let cook about a half hour. Add tomato paste. Cook until desired thickness. Fill hot pint or quart jars. Wipe rims; use hot lids. Check seals when cool.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Condiments, etc..
