Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- sugar - 2 c
- flour
- butter or margarine - 10 Tbsp
- baking powder
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
How to make hot milk cake:
Beat eggs at high speed in a mixing bowl about 5 minutes. Add sugar gradually, beating until mixture is light and fluffy. Combine flour and baking powder; add to batter with vanilla and beat at low speed until smooth. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter just until butter melts, stirring occasionally. Add to batter, beating until combined. Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done. Yields 12 to 16 servings.
