Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 c
- whole wheat flour - 3/4 c
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 2/3 c
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- mashed bananas - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
How to make banana nut bread:
In a bowl, stir together the flours, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In another bowl, beat sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in milk and vanilla. Add flour mixture and banana alternately to sugar mixture. Fold in chopped nuts. Put batter into a greased loaf pan.
