  • firmly packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • curry powder
  • margarine, melted - 1/2 c
  • can pineapple tidbits, drained - 1 oz
  • can pear halves, drained - 1 oz
  • can sliced peaches, drained - 1 oz
  • banana, sliced - 1 item
  • jar cherries, drained - 1 oz

How to make hot curried fruit:

Combine margarine, brown sugar and curry powder in saucepan; heat, stirring until well blended. Combine fruit in shallow 2-quart casserole and add sauce. Bake at 300° for 1 hour. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
