Hot chicken salad casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- lemon juice - 3 tsp
- cooked chicken - 3 c
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- diced celery - 3 c
- cream of chicken soup - 2 c
- potato chips - 1 item
- cooked rice - 3 c
- white wine optional - 1/2 c
- almonds, chopped optional - 1 c
- to 9 hard-boiled eggs, chopped - 5 item
- frozen peas, cooked slightly - 1/2 pkg
- garlic or mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp
How to make hot chicken salad casserole:
Mix all ingredients except chicken and eggs. Add wine and herbs. Then add chicken and eggs. Top with crushed potato chips. Do not use potato chips until ready to bake. Store in refrigerator before baking.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
