  • butter, softened - 1 lb
  • cinnamon
  • brown sugar - 1 lb
  • vanilla ice cream - 1 qt
  • nutmeg
  • confectioners sugar - 1 lb
  • boiling water - 1 item
  • rum - 1 item

How to make hot buttered rum:

Combine all ingredients except rum and boiling water. Freeze at this point, if desired.

For each individual drink, add 2 tablespoons mix and 1 jigger rum to each mug and fill with boiling water.
