Honey mustard dressing
Ingredients/Components
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- vegetable oil - 3/4 c
- cider vinegar - 4 Tbsp
- honey - 3 Tbsp
- chopped fresh parsley
- Dijon mustard - 1 Tbsp
- mayonnaise - 6 Tbsp
- finely minced onion - 1 Tbsp
How to make honey mustard dressing:
Heat vinegar and honey in a heavy small saucepan, over low heat, stirring until honey dissolves. Pour into a bowl and cool. Whisk in mayonnaise, mustard, onion, parsley and salt. Gradually whisk in oil. (Can be prepared 3 days ahead, covered and refrigerated; bring to room temperature before using.) Makes 1 1/2 cups.Recipe categories: Low protein, Salads, Salad dressings.
