Honey custard
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 item
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- honey - 1/3 c
- scalded milk - 3 c
How to make honey custard:
Combine eggs, salt and honey. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Add vanilla. Pour in custard cups; sprinkle with nutmeg. Place cups in pan of hot water and bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes, or until set. (If desired, instead of using custard cups, pour into a large mold and bake as above for 45 minutes.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Low calorie.
