Holiday wreaths

Ingredients/Components

• margarine or butter - 1/3 c
• green food coloring - 1 tsp
• 10 oz - 1 pkg
• red cinnamon candies - 1 item
• corn flakes cereal - 6 c

How to make holiday wreaths:

Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until marshmallows melt and mixture is syrupy. Remove from heat. Stir in food coloring. Add corn flakes cereal. Stir until well coated. Portion warm corn flake mixture using 1/4 cup dry measure. Using buttered fingers, quickly shape into individual wreaths. Dot with red cinnamon candies. Yields 16 wreaths.

Variation: Can also be pressed into buttered 5 1/2 cup ring mold or shape into ring on serving plate. Remove from mold and dot with red candies. Slice to serve. Can also be shaped like holly sprigs.
