  • pepper - 1 item
  • garlic salt - 1 item
  • onion salt - 1 item
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • onion, diced - 1 item
  • carrots, cut up - 2 item
  • medium potatoes, cut up - 6 item

How to make hobo stew:

You will need 2 long strips of aluminum foil.

Divide ground beef in half. Season with onion salt, garlic salt and pepper. Form into patty and set aside. In a bowl, mix onion, potatoes and carrots. Divide into 2 piles. Place each pile of vegetables on aluminum foil. Add salt. Place ground beef patty on top of vegetables. Wrap up foil and seal. Place each pack on cookie sheet. Cook for 1 hour in a 350° oven. Serves 2.
