Heavenly salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- whipped cream - 1 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1 pkg
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- water, boiling
- bananas, sliced - 4 item
- pineapple juice - 1 c
- large can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- lemon jello - 2 pkg
- water, cold - 2 c
How to make heavenly salad:
Dissolve jello in 1 1/2 cups of boiling water, adding 2 cups of cold water. Add crushed pineapple and pour into shallow pan or dish (8 x 12 inch). Add bananas to jello and top with miniature marshmallows. Refrigerate until set.In a saucepan combine pineapple juice, sugar and flour. Add the egg and cook until thickened. Cool. Fold in whipped cream and spread sauce mixture on the salad.
