Heavenly banana bread

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• vegetable oil - 1/2 c
• all-purpose flour
• chopped walnuts - 1 c
• plus 1 Tbsp - 1/4 c
• salt optional - 1/4 tsp

How to make heavenly banana bread:

In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, combine eggs, bananas, oil, buttermilk and vanilla; beat well. Add to flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Fold in nuts. Pour into 9 x 5 x 3-inch baking pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until bread tests done. Cool on wire rack. Yield: 1 loaf.
