Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine room temperature - 1/2 lb
- poppy seed - 1 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- loaves sourdough pull-aparts - 2 item
- bacon strips, cut in half and partially cooked - 1/2 lb
How to make hearth bread:
Cream together butter, poppy seed and mustard. Butter between sourdough slices; save some butter for outside of bread. Put a Swiss cheese slice between each. Use remaining butter and put 1/2 strip bacon on top of each slice. Place on foil but keep top open. Put foil on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for about 20 minutes. Pull apart to serve.
