Ingredients/Components
- cider vinegar - 1/2 c
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- small red onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- medium green pepper, finely chopped - 1 item
- head cabbage or 6 c - 1 (1
- sugar or equivalent sweetener - 1/3 c
- corn oil 12 Tbsp - 1/4 c
How to make health salad:
In a large bowl, toss together cabbage, carrots, pepper and onion. Mix together vinegar, sugar, oil, celery seed and garlic salt. Pour over cabbage mixture. Cover; marinate in refrigerator overnight. Makes about 7 cups.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegan, Vegetables.
