Ingredients/Components

• peeled, diced apples - 4 c
• flour - 3 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• sugar - 2 c
• soda - 2 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• oil - 1 c

How to make harvest cake:

Mix apples and sugar together and let stand for 1 hour. Sift together flour, soda and salt; add to apple mixture. Beat eggs with vanilla and add oil and nuts. Add mixtures together and pour in a greased and floured angel food pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
