- sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1/2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- can sliced beets, drained - 1 item
How to make harvard beets:
Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add vinegar. Let sauce boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add butter. Pour sauce over beets. Let simmer 30 minutes.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
