Hamburger stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- dairy sour cream - 1 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 1/2
- clove garlic - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can mushrooms and pieces, drained - 1 oz
- Poppy Seed Noodles * - 1 item
How to make hamburger stroganoff:
In large skillet, cook and stir meat and onion in butter until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, garlic and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in soup; heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream; heat through. Serve over Poppy Seed Noodles.*Poppy Seed Noodles: Cook 8 ounces of medium noodles as directed on package; drain. Stir in 2 teaspoons poppy seed and 1 tablespoon butter.
