  • packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
  • dash of garlic powder - 1 item
  • can tomato sauce
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • dash of salt and pepper - 1 item
  • minced onion - 1/2 tsp
  • envelope onion soup mix - 1 item
  • slices dried bread - 2 item

How to make hamburger steak:

Sauce:1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1/4 c. packed brown sugar dash of salt and pepper1/2 tsp. minced onion dash of garlic powder Mix ingredients for sauce and set aside.

Mix ingredients for patties, making sure to crumble bread. Form mixture into 4 patties and place in cake pan. Put about 2 tablespoons of sauce over each patty and bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes. Turn patties over and spoon remaining sauce over patties and continue to bake for another 30 minutes.
