Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • toasted almonds - 2 Tbsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • dill weed - 1 tsp
  • black pepper to taste - 1 item
  • fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced - 1/4 lb
  • small onion, cut into thin strips - 1 item
  • fresh green beans with ends trimmed - 1 lb

How to make green beans and mushrooms:

Saute garlic and mushrooms in butter until tender. Stir in onions and set aside. Steam or cook beans in small amount of water until tender-crisp; drain. Combine beans and mushroom mixture; add pepper and dill weed. Garnish with nuts. Serve immediately.
