Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- raisins - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/4 c
- red wine vinegar - 4 tsp
- dry sherry - 1 c
- slivered almonds - 2/3 c
- thyme - 1 tsp
- pearl onions - 2 lb
How to make glazed pearl onions:
Bring pot of salted water to boil. Add onions; cook 3 minutes to loosen skins. Drain and cool. Cut root ends from onions. Squeeze onions at stem end (onions will slip out of skins).
