  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • honey - 1/4 c
  • red wine vinegar - 4 tsp
  • dry sherry - 1 c
  • slivered almonds - 2/3 c
  • thyme - 1 tsp
  • pearl onions - 2 lb

How to make glazed pearl onions:

Bring pot of salted water to boil. Add onions; cook 3 minutes to loosen skins. Drain and cool. Cut root ends from onions. Squeeze onions at stem end (onions will slip out of skins). Combine pearl onions, sherry, raisins, honey, water, butter and thyme
